Regions Bank

If you have been to the Regions Bank website lately, you have probably noticed its site graphics that is color themed with green and orange. Another particularly interesting is the side graphic with a woman riding on a bicycle. You can notice that she’s wearing helmet. At first glance, the website’s graphical elements may not weigh much on your side, unless of course you’re a graphic artist, you’d probably admire the whole thing. But more than aesthetical purpose, the color and the woman on bike with helmet are objects that represent the Regions Bank.

Because it was merging with many banks and providers, the company had to show its increasing presence in the Southern regions of America. To further its expansion, Regions Financial Corporation agreed a merger with Union Planters Corporation in Tennessee making it land on the top fifteen banks in the United States in 2004. To capture more clients in the South Eastern parts, Regions Financial Corporation made merger once more with AmSouth Bancorporation in 2006.
